About Patch Panel Label Planner

This independent browser-based utility helps low-voltage installers, network technicians, homelab builders, and small IT teams turn one connection schedule into synchronized panel strips, cable-end labels, and handoff records.

Why it exists

Maintaining separate label and spreadsheet files creates opportunities for mismatched cable IDs, endpoints, and port numbers. The planner keeps those outputs connected to the same editable record and flags common collisions before export.

Privacy by design

CSV parsing, editing, previews, and file generation run in the browser. The tool is designed so schedule values, filenames, labels, and endpoints are not sent to a server.

Physical-fit limitation

Patch panels and label media vary. The presets are starting layouts, not promises of compatibility. Users must measure the actual panel, print at Actual Size / 100%, and test alignment before relying on an output.

Independence

The project is not affiliated with or endorsed by any patch-panel, cable, label-stock, or printer manufacturer.
